Dr. Edwin Charlebois is a Multiple Principal Investigator at the Research Coordinating Center (RCC) of the Multiple Chronic Diseases Disparities Research Consortium (MCD-DRC). He is also the Director of the Organizational and Management Unit and an Associate Director of the Investigator Skills Development Unit of the RCC.

As a senior scientist at the UCSF Center for AIDS Prevention Studies (CAPS) Dr. Edwin Charlebois' research program focuses on the epidemiology and prevention of HIV infection and its consequences. Overarching this focus are translational science efforts to improve the methodology and evaluation of research and interventions aimed at controlling and eventually eliminating the domestic and international spread of HIV.
