Dr. Carol Agomo has over a decade of experience driving impactful initiatives at the intersection of public health, community engagement, and social equity. Passionate about creating meaningful change, she has dedicated her career to fostering partnerships between universities and community organizations to tackle pressing health disparities and promote health equity. Her work, research, and community service efforts have directly impacted communities across West Alabama, improving health literacy, advancing health equity, and addressing systemic barriers to care.

Currently leading community outreach and engagement activities in Alabama for the Forge AHEAD Center, Dr. Agomo aims to leverage her expertise in strategic planning, operational management, and stakeholder collaboration to build programs that create sustainable change.
