Dr. Varsha Singh, DNP,ANP-C,SCRN,NEA-BC,FAHA,FAANP,FNYAM is an expert neuroscience nurse practitioner, educator and researcher who is considered a subject matter expert on stroke quality and clinical practice. She is serving on CAB as advisor and member of CAHPE. She is Program Manager Neuroscience/Stroke St. Joseph’s University Medical Center and part time faculty of FNP program at Fairleigh Dickinson University and a mentor for Jonas Scholars Alumni Council. She has been on advisory committee for SATHI (South Asian Total Health Initiatives) since 2009. She was part of research team lead Stroke Educator for the SATHI research project SAHAS (South Asian Health Awareness about stroke). She has presented at local, national, and international conferences. She is member of New Jersey Department of Health’s Stroke Care Advisory Panel and membership committee of the World Stroke Organization. As the Neuroscience Nurse Practitioner, she has keen insight into management of patients with cardiovascular disease. She has educated nurses, nurse practitioners as well as community members about preventative practice to reduce risk for cardiovascular diseases and continues to participate in many research initiatives.
